AN open evening offering a chance to meet artists exhibiting at Castle Park Arts Centre, Frodsham over the summer will take place on Friday, June 28.
Entry is free at the event which takes place from 7-9pm.
The exhibitions start tomorrow (Wednesday, June 26) and continue until Saturday, August 3.
Gallery 1 will feature “A Bigger Picture” by Carol Richardson – a diverse collection of larger abstract paintings, offering a glimpse into a creative journey.
In Gallery 2 Vivian Cockrill and Cheryl Crichton-Edwards are presenting “In My Mind’s Eye/Witness – new works in oil, charcoal, ink and chalk deeply rooted in the landscape.
Gallery 3 will feature “Artistry” – a mix of painting, pottery and woodwork by Brian Minnery, Chris Hughes and Lawrence Johnson.
The Link gallery will feature “Exploring the natural world in watercolours”, a collection by Jane Beech.
In the Foyer Gallery visitors will be able to see “A Confusion of Flowers” – an exh8ibition by Ann Johnson.
Upcoming workshops at the Arts Centre include Life Drawing on Saturdays, from 1-3pm. Places can be booked on the Castle Park Arts Centre website at £10 a session of £50 prepaid for six sessions.
Art classes in acrylics and mixed media are also taking place on Tuesdays from 7-9pm. Book at midge@artjournals.co.uk
