Frodsham Town Clerk Vacancy
NJC pts 27-29 (£24,657 – 26,470 pro rata)
A vacancy has arisen for a new Town Clerk at Frodsham. This is an interesting and varied part-time post, offering the chance to enable our team of Town Councillors to deliver real benefits to the community.
The post, currently 27 hours per week, is responsible for the full range of Proper Officer and Responsible Financial Officer duties appropriate to the Council, and for leading the Council’s team of five staff.
The post is situated in Castle Park House.
The successful applicant will be a resilient, self-starting individual with a range of skills, probably acquired through working in a similar post in local government. These qualities will include:
- Leadership
- Good communication skills – written and oral
- Management experience, including financial
- Good networking and presentational skills,
- Customer service.
- Analytical ability.
- Resilience
- Time management
A qualification in local government administration would be an advantage.
