PLANS have been drawn up to convert a former charity shop in Main Street, Frodsham into residential accommodation.
The property has been owned by the same family since 1948 and was originally a grocers shop.
Latterly, it has been used as a charity shop but this was forced to close as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic.
The first floor is occupied by the applicants who wish to convert the ground floor for residential purposes, as part of the first floor accommodation.
This would enable them to continue to live in the local community, of which they are a part.
Planners at Cheshire West and Chester Council have been told the alterations to the building have been carefully considered to enhance the property and mirror the adjacent neighbouring property.
The proposals provide high quality living spaces in the centre of Frodsham, with no impact on neighbouring amenities.
Borough planning officers are now considered the proposals.
