Full line-up of candidates for Frodsham elections

THERE will be a four-cornered fight for the vacant Frodsham seat on Cheshire West and Chester Council on May 6.
Conservative, Labour, Liberal Democrat and the Greens will be contesting the seat left vacant by the resignation of former councillor Andrew Dawson (Cons).



The former Frodsham Mayor stood down in October after being appointed head of legal services in the Falklands Islands.
He had been a councillor for Frodsham for 13 years.
He also resigned as a councillor for Lakes Ward on Frodsham Town Council.
Full line-up for his former CWaC seat is: Christopher Basey (Cons); Sian Day (Green Party); Patrick Eakin (Lib Dem) and Micahel Garvey (Lab).
There will also be an election for the Waterside ward of Frodsham Town Council the same day.
Candidates are Christopher Basey (Cons), Patrick Eakin (Lib Dem) and Lucy Sumner (Labour).
Felicity Davies (Labour) has been elected unopposed to the vacant Town Council seat in Lakes Ward. She will take up the post on May 9.
