Pre-school’s “outstanding” from Ofsted

FRODSHAM’S Applebees Pre-school are celebrating the outcome of their first-ever Ofsted inspection resulting in them being judged “Outstanding” in all areas. 

Ofsted inspector Lauren Parson said after visiting the pre-school, in the grounds of Frodsham Manor House Primary: “The provider has extremely high expectations for her staff and the children attending.
“Children are exceptionally confident, happy and self-assured. Older children are confident communicators who approach challenges with a positive can-do attitude.”

“All children are exceptionally well prepared for their next stages of learning and the move on to school.”
Sonja Pearson, owner and childcare manager said: “We are delighted with our result.  We have worked hard to achieve this, setting high standards for ourselves and the children”.

She also praised the head and staff at Manor House Primary who had been “very supportive.”

The Ofsted inspector added that to further improve the quality of the early years provision, the pre-school should continue to enhance the excellent opportunities available for children who prefer to learn outdoors.
Applebees was first registered in 2016.
