Snowfall inspired local snapper

THE snowfall before Christmas which gave Frodsham and surrounding areas a wintery look inspired local photographer Lynda Hayney to get snapping.

Lynda, who along with other members of Frodsham & District Photographic Society have been helping cover events for Frodsham life throughout the past year will be lead presenter at the Society’s meeting on January 22nd.

The Society hopes readers have enjoyed a happy and healthy Christmas and a ‘not too merry’ Hogmanay ! The Party at CP Arts Centre was a very entertaining occasion with a hot-pot supper, puddings and of course table top games and quizzes.

A very competitive ‘Bar Skittles’ was won by the Chairman’s table with Marie Aldridge displaying a canny skill!

The second half of the season beckons – remember only £17.50 for joining in January.

On the 8th Adrian Lines presents ‘Altered Reality’ which sounds interesting and then on the 22nd the Studio evening is an interactive event with

Lynda (whose images can be seen here) as the lead presenter. Members also contribute to the January programme.

The Showcase on 29th presents the work of three Members – one of the photographers has been officially following various sports around matches including the national Ladies football team and has some interesting anecdotes and exciting  images. A report next month will include one of these.
