FRODSHAM Police have instigated a “street week” initiative at the Saltworks Playing Fields following recent issues with anti-social behaviour in the area.
‘Street a Week’ is an initiative where police target a particular street/area. This week Saltworks Playing Fields/Ship Street has been chosen.
This will give more of a focus on the area and allow more engagement to take place with the community.
It follows on from ongoing issues involving anti-social behaviour during lockdown.
Meanwhile, Helsby Police attended Helsby Community Sports Club yesterday evening. A group of young people had accessed this area when it was actually closed. The group was dispersed and moved on.
