THREE fire crews were called out this morning to tackle a barn fire at Frodsham.
At 07:45 fire engines from Frodsham, Runcorn and Widnes attended the incident on Hillfoot Lane
The fire involved hay bales inside a barn on Hill Foot Lane, Frodsham.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using hose reel jets to tackle and damp down the fire.
A road closure is in place on Hill Foot Lane while emergency services continue to deal with the incident.
Residents living nearby are advised to keep doors and windows closed if they are affected by smoke.
