A popular pub in the heart of Frodsham is set for a six-figure refurbishment, with work planned to preserve its traditional character while introducing a fresh new look.
The Bears Paw, on Main Street, will temporarily close to the public on Sunday, November 2, while the improvements are carried out.
The Greene King pub is expected to reopen later in November, in time for Frodsham’s Christmas Festival.
The investment will see improvements both inside and outside the much-loved venue, with the aim of enhancing its appeal while retaining the character that has made it a popular meeting place for the local community.
Plans include making the most of the pub’s spacious beer garden and barn, which is available for private hire and functions.
The Bears Paw is a popular choice for friends and families, as well as sports fans looking to catch the action live.
Its food and drink menus cater for a range of occasions, from lunchtime refreshments and after-work drinks to weekend get-togethers. The pub also screens live sport through Sky Sports and TNT Sports.
The refurbishment is expected to provide a refreshed setting for customers to enjoy, with the reopening timed ahead of the busy festive period.
