DENIS Holder – sometimes known as Warrington’s own Van Gogh – Denis Holder – is currently exhibiting at the Castle Park Arts Centre, Frodsham.
Denis Holder is a devoted admirer of Vincent van Gogh and creates hand-painted replicas of Van Gogh’s masterpieces.
He is known for using his full-size replicas to give talks and presentations to community groups and schools to help people understand Van Gogh’s style.
The current exhibition is titled “Van Gogh: Up Close and Personal.”
At 1.30pm on Thursday January 29 and on Thursday February 12 Denis will also be giving a talk.
He has studied Van Gogh’s work for more than 60 years.
