Frodsham Town Council to host monthly Artisan Market

FRODSHAM Town Council has teamed up with champion of local independent businesses, Independent Street, to bring a monthly Artisan Market to the town centre – starting on Saturday,March 30.

The spectacular, family day out, will be packed full of entertainment, live music, artisan market shopping and plenty of things to keep the whole family entertained.
Thereafter, The artisan market will be in town on the last Saturday of every month from 10am till 4pm.
Specially selected artisan market stalls will be in Main Street together with plenty of family fun for everyone. There will be live music by talented northern singer songwriter Chris Tavener plus an Easter Bunny trail for youngsters.
You can expect the very best of local food, drink, arts and craft. There will be many award-winning producers of unique goods set to inspire.
From award winning pies to epic cakes, artisan candles and handmade jewellery, to hand baked treats for dogs, beautiful handmade textiles, wooden crafts, tasty cheeses, local gin distilleries to artisan soaps and handmade bath creams.
There will also be a street food area with food influences from around the globe.

Cllr Helen Hayes, chairman of Frodsham Town Council) said: “Frodsham Town Council is delighted to be able to host an Artisan Market with Independent Street in the heart of Frodsham. It is a great opportunity for us to showcase all that Frodsham has to offer and will attract a diverse group of shoppers, including both locals and tourists.
“The Artisan Market will be a great way to boost tourism in Frodsham as it will promote the unique culture and creativity of the town. It will provide an opportunity for people to purchase authentic and locally-made products which is a great way to support local businesses and promote economic development in the town. Additionally, meeting people from the community can improve mental health as it fosters a sense of connection and belonging.”
Lisa Cowley from Independent Street said: “We are delighted to have been asked by Frodsham Town Council to bring a once-a-month event to Frodsham High Street. We are so excited to start work alongside the wonderful retailers and hospitality venues in Frodsham.”
