FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a fire in a roof space caused by a log burner at a property in Frodsham during the early hours of today (Sunday).
At 03:14 one fire crew from Frodsham was called to a property on Howey Rise following a report of a fire in a house in Frodsham.
On arrival, they found a fire affecting the roof space above a log burner.
The crew cut away plasterboard and part of the ceiling to expose a wooden beam which was affected by fire.
One hose reel and a thermal imaging camera were used to put the fire out and check for any remaining hotspots.
