Two people checked over by paramedics after house fire

TWO people were checked over by paramedics after fire broke out in Ruthin Walk, Frodsham, on Bank Holiday Monday.

The blaze involved a shed, which was well alight and spreading when two fire engines arrived at the scene.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. Thermal imaging checks were carried out to locate any remaining hotspots.
As a precaution, crews also checked nearby properties for signs of fire spread. Smoke had entered two homes, and a high-pressure fan was used to clear them.
The two people assessed by ambulance crews did not require hospital treatment.
Cause of the fire is believed to have been accidental.
In another incident yesterday, a fire crew from Widnes went to a property in Manley Lane, Frodsham to deal with a fire in the garden covering an area of about 20m X 20m.
There were no reports of casualties or damage to property.
