CLIMATE Action Frodsham is holding an event this Saturday (November 4) which will give an opportunity to discuss climate action policies with local politicians.
The event at Frodsham Community Centre, starting at 2pm, will start with an introduction to warmer homes and renewables by Helsby Green Party councillor Chris Copeman (pictured).
There will also be a short talk by Weaver Vale MP Mike Amesbury on how ordinary members of the public can influence the political debate.
Other local councillors are expected to make contributions to the debate.
There will then be a question and answer session.
Free refreshments will be available.
The event is expected to conclude around 3.30pm.
Two more events have been arranged to give opportunities to get trained to use Community Action Frodsham’s thermal camera and to discuss home upgrades that can prevent heat loss and save money.
They will be at Frodsham Community Centre on Tuesday November 14 and Tuesday December 12, at 7pm to 9.15pm.
