FRODSHAM will be ablaze with colour on Saturday (November 26) when the annual Christmas Festival takes place.
Organiseed by local volunteers the event is sponsored by Frodsham Town Council and numerous local businesses.
There will be entertainment for all the family – 24 acts taking place on three stages and 14 walk-about performers.
In addition, there will be a virtual reality sleigh ride, community singing with Matt Baker and of course the famous Frodsham Christmas Parade, led by Paralympian Nathan Macguire.
There will a Santa’s Grotto, a A Grinch Grotto, indoor and outdoor Christmas Markets, vintage vehicles, meet and greet opportunities, free face painting, a free Peter Pan panto, a free show with the Grinch and Cindy Lou and much more.
A number of roads will be closed between 5.30pm and 7.30pm to allow the festival to take place. These are Church Street (from Churchfield Road to A56 Main Street), Red Lane (from Churchfield Road to Fluin Lane) and the A56 Main Street (from Ship Street to Howey Lane).
But access to Morrison’s via Main Street will be maintained at all times and pedestrian access to premises situated on or adjacent to the roads will be maintained at all times.
