Plans submitted for new building on Frodsham Marshes

PLANS have been submitted for the construction of a new building associated with outdoor target activities and the siting of two weather shelters/viewing areas on Frodsham Marshes.
The proposals, by Hover Force Ltd, of Grassy Lane, Frodsham, will be considered by Cheshire West and Chester Council’s planning department.
Frodsham Town Council’s planning committee has raised no objection.
A report to be considered by planners states that Hover Force have been operating outdoor recreational activities on Frodsham Marshes since 2013 and, since then, has steadily increased its customer bases.
Additional facilities are required to facilitate the growth of the business.
A new building is required associated with the outdoor target activities but it will not cause anuy reduction of the openness of the area and land within the Green Belt is safeguarded.
The proposals are of a modest scale and a partially erected larger building will be removed to make room for them. There is no flood risk, no impact on biodiversity and no neighbours will be affected.
Nearby wind turbines, part of the Frodsham Wind Farm, dominate the landscape and have the effect of dwarfing everything else in the vicinity.
