Ten local artists hold their first-ever exhibition

A GROUP of 10 local artists who meet every week at Frodsham’s Castle Park Arts Centre open their first-ever exhibition tomorrow (Wednesday).

The Castle Park Print Club meet at the Arts Centre every Wednesday to practice the art of printmaking. They were formed about 12 months ago.
They produce linocuts, etchings, screen prints and gelli plate prints and the exhibition, which runs in the Link Gallery until November 1, reflects a wide range of subject matter and interests.
Anyone interested in print making can contact the club by emailing applpainter@aol.com.
There will be a “meet the artists” open evening on Friday (September 22) from 7-9pm.
Other artists who will be at the open evening and who are exhibiting at the Arts Centre until November l are:
Ali Kippax and Jon Clayton – “Landmarks in Time” (Gallery 1)
Kate Brooks – “Parallels with Nature and Animals” (Gallery 2)
Eddie Bishop and Elizabeth Panter “Iron Maiden 2” (Gallery 3).
There is free entry to all the exhibitions.
