Police investigate arson attack on van at Frodsham

POLICE are investigating what is believed to have been an arson attack involving a Transit Van at Frodsham.
Firefighters were call to Moorditch Lane, Frodsham at 1.30am on Monday to reports of a van on fire. On arrival they found the vehicle was well alight.
A firefighter wearing breathing apparatus tackle the blaze with a hose reel jet and specialist cutting gear was used to gain access to the fire at the back of the van.
The crew then damped down the vehicle to make it safe. All together they were at the scene for an hour.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
