Frodsham lost a match they would sooner forget about!

FRODSHAM lost a match they would sooner forget about – after being bowled out for a meagre 34 at Prestbury.

Not one Frodsham batsman reached double figures and six ducks waddled back into the pavilion.
Set such an impossible task, the Frodsham bowlers nevertheless did their best and Matt Deakin took 2-19 and Martin Dodd 1-6 as the home side coasted to a seven wicket victory.
Frodsham 2nd XI had to concede their match against Cholmondeley.
Next week Frodsham are due to host Offerton hoping for better things.
The 2nd XI are due to travel to Warrington.

Kingsley went down by 24 runs hosting Christleton.
The visitors won the toss and elected to bat first. They were bowled out for 137, largely due to opener Max Dunbavand who carried his bat for an unbeaten 68.
Kingsley were dismissed for 113 with the bulk of the runs coming from Alistair Begg, 30, Haris Yassin, 24 and Ben Ainsworth, 24.
Kingsley 2nd won by 38 runs at Chester Boughton Hall.
Batting first, they hit 232-6, Kieron Ollier top scoring with 85 and skipper Jaimie Creek hitting 51.
The home side were restricted to 194-7 with Adrian Burden taking 4-52 in a 10-over spell.
Alvanley won by 81 runs, hosting Cheadle Hulme.
Opener Michael Rowlands top-scored with 60 and Jono Whitley hit 55 as Alvanley posted 263-8.
The visitors were dismissed for 182 with Rowlands taking 5-53 to complete a fine, all-round performance.
Alvaley 2nd lost by six wickets at Cheadle Hulme despite a useful 50 from Will Evans.
Alvanley 3rd were well and truly beaten at Warrington where they were rolled over for 39 in reply to the home side’s 180. Nick Skidmore took 3-32.
