Frodsham lost heavily at home

FRODSHAM lost heavily when they entertained Presbury on a day when many Cheshire matches were abandoned to the weather.

Winning the toss, skipper Matt Deakin decided to put the visitors in.
Frodsham bowled well – Deakin, Dave Woodall, James Palliser and Adam Crosby all picked up two wickets.
But Prestbury set a challenging target of 195 for the loss of nine wickets.
But Frodsham’s batsmen never got settled, with only three of them reaching double figures.
Top scorer was Richard Watt with 28 and the side were bowled out for 82 in 29 overs.
Frodsham 2nd did not play.
