FRODSHAM’S dismal run of poor form continued with a 48 run defeat at Kerridge.
They started well enough, dismissing the home side for a modest 103 in 32.3 overs, James Palliser returning excellent figures of 6-23.
But when it came to batting, they were never in the hunt, Matt Williamson’s 16 being the top score.
They were all out for 55 in 34.5 overs.
Things were not better for the 2nd XI with the team all out for 84 in reply to the powerful Maritime’s 235-6.
Kingsley won by three wickets at Upton despite the home side declaring on 205-7.
Martyn Jenks hit 67 and Matthew Dunnings 59 not out as Kingsley powered their way to 209-7.
Kingsley 2nd also won at Chester County Officers after dismissing the home side for 148.
They replied with 149-3, Kingsley Warman 47 not out and skipper Jamie Creek 39 not out.
Alvanley won by two wickets at Bramhall after dismissing the homesters for 95, Chris Charles taking 4-7 in 10 overs.
The visitors got off to a poor start, with four batsmen back in the pavilion and only 26 on the board. But skipper Alex Reid hit 33 to set the side on their way to victory.
Alvanley 2nd lost by two wickets at home to Heaton Mersey after being bowled out for 106.
The visitors also struggled but managed to get home in the final over. Phil Erasmujs took 3-20.
It was a similar story for Alvanley 3rd who went down by 11 runs at home to Upton
