FRODSHAM went down by four wickets in their Cheshire Cricket League game at Prestbury.
Batting first, they were all out for 142, most of the runs coming from Matt Williamson, 60 and Nick James, 32 after the first four wickets had fallen cheaply
Prestbury lost two quick wickets but then gradually took control of the game to finish on 143-6.
Matt Deakin took 3-30.
Frodsham 2nd also lost after batting first at Upton and hitting 196 all out. Main run-getters were Dave Woodall, 78 and M Connolly, 58.
Andrew Graham took 3-51 when the home side batted but they reached their target with five wickets in hard.
Frodsham won a friendly game against Rainhill on Sunday,
The visitors hit 112-6, with Roger London taking 2-21 and Jim Morrell 2-24. Frodsham totalled 189-4 with Rob Kent hitting 51 not out and Nithin Gopalakrishnan 50 nout out
Kingsley won by 42 runs at Tattenhall after batting first and scoring 180 all out.
Haris Yasin hit 59 and Ben Stoddart 36.
Tattenhall were bowled out for 138, with J Logan taking 5-13.
Alvanley lost by nine wickets at Sale after being bowled out for124, Stephen Charles top scoring with 30.
Alvanley 2nd drew with Grappenhall after the visitors had h it a formidable 280-6.
Skipper Andy Bennion hit 54 as Alvanley dug in for the draw, finishing on 224-6.
