APPLICATIONS are now being invited for grants of up to £60,000 in the latest round of awards under the Marshes Community Benefit awards scheme.
Deadline for applications is August 31 and the scheme is open to community groups in the Frodsham area for projects that will benefit the community. The grants are made by Frodsham Windfarm Ltd to organisations chosen by the Marsh Community Benefit Fund panel.

Frodsham Windfarm Ltd is committed to making grants totalling £120,000 each year, to be made in two instalments of £60,000.
Grants can range from £250 to £60,000. For grants of over £2,000 priority is given to community organisations which can demonstrate they can also make a contribution .
At the last distribution of grants, in May, the panel awarded grants totalling £44,000 to six community organisations.
Where there is a shortfall of eligible grants, the money is rolled-over to the next distribution.
