Frodsham’s Festival in the Park set to go ahead

FRODSHAM’S annual Festival in the Park will go ahead on Sunday, August 29 – subject to the Government’s COVID 19 restrictions being relaxed as currently planned.
Organisers, Rotary Club members in Frodsham and Helsby, plan to stage the event using the same format as in previous years.
Town Mayor Cllr Caroline Ashton will officially open the festival at 12.30pm

As usual, it is expected that the finish of the Frodsham Downhill Run will take place as part of the festival.
Galleries and shops atthe Castle Park Arts Centre will be open for all to visit, along with several art and craft displays and, of course, some shared live entertainment from those performing on the main stage.
The main stage will be directly in front of Castle Park House along with stalls and displays from numerous trusts, organizations, societies, clubs and groups from the local community.
There will be rides and attractions for children and also attractions for older children and adults.
But it all depends on Covid restrictions being eased as planned – and people attending will be urged to be cautious and observe sensible measures to ensure everyone stays safe.
