A warm welcome awaits at Frodsham Leisure Centre

FRODSHAM Leisure Centre has become the latest place to offer a warm welcome to people struggling to keep warm this winter.
The leisure centre – along with other Brio leisure centres across the borough – have joined Frodsham and Helsby Libraries to become part of Cheshire West and Chester Council’s “Warm Hub” initiative.
The libraries have been part of the scheme since October, offering visitors a warm and safe place as well as refresnments.
While at the library, residents can take part in a range of events and activities that are on offer. They can also join the library for free and take advantage of the wide range of books, eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines. Libraries have Wi-Fi and public computers which can be used free of charge too.
A similar welcome awaits people at the leisure centre.
The council has established a network of Warm Hubs, working with Cheshire West Voluntary Action and Cheshire Community Action, and the wider voluntary and community sector.
Residents who are worried about the cost of living and rise of energy bills can find useful information on the council’s website – www.cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk/costofliving.
Some churches are also joining the warm hub initiative.
