Daughter and Dad take leading roles in Peter Pan panto

A FATHER and daughter take leading roles in the long-awaited return of Kingsley Players’ pantomime on January 26-29.
Iona Anstice, a leading member of Kingsley Players’ youth section, plays the part of Peter Pan, the boy who never grows up, while her dad, Ian Anstice, takes on the role of pantomime dame Nanny McSmee.

The show goes on at Kingsley Community Centre for five performances from Wednesday January 26 to Saturday January 29 at 7.30pm each evening plus a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
The show is directed by Kingsley Players’ Youth Theatre’s award-winning director Jake Powell and is adaptation of J>M Barrie’s famous story by Alex Jackson.
There will be plenty of music, dance and laughter and all the favourite characters – Wendy, Captain Hook, Tinkerbell and the Lost Boys – will be there.
The show promises something for everyone and should banish those winter – and Covid – blues.
Tickets are £10, or £7 for children and students and these can be booked from the website www.kingsleyplayers.co.uk or by calling 07724 892154
