Fire crew manages to prevent serious blaze at Frodsham

FIREFIGTERS managed to prevent a potentially serious blaze from spreading to nearby property at Frodsham on Sunday.
The fire was in Doric Avenue, Frodsham and involved a petrol lawnmower.
Firefighters from Runcorn went to the scene shortly after 5pm and discovered the blaze had spread to nearby timber fencing.
They tackled the blaze using a hose reel jet and managed to prevent it spreading further.
Cause of the outbreak has not been revealed.
