Friends run the Cheshire Sandstone Trail to raise money for charity

TWO friends have run the Cheshire Sandstone Trail from Frodsham to Whitchurch and back to raise money for Parkinson’s UK.

Elias Rogers and George Rose met when they were students at Helsby High School and have been friends ever since.
Sadly, George’s dad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s several years ago and they want to do something to raise funds for research. Currently there is no cure for the disease.
The run was just over 110k – and the going was far from easy.
With a 5.30am start, they were back in Frodsham in time for a big welcome party.
Several friends and family ran parts of the route with them.
Anyone who would like to sponsor the pair can still do so at their Just Giving page, https://www.justgiving.com/page/george-rose-elias-rugen-sandstone-trail
