FIREFIGHTERS from Frodsham were called out last night to deal with a crash on the M56 westbound carriageway between Junction 12 and Junction 14 last night.
On arrival, shortly after 9pm, they found it involved one car which had been in collision with a crash barrier.
There was no fire but firefighter made the scene safe before leaving.
There were no reports of injuries.
