Manor House pupils have fun making puppets

YEAR 2 pupils at Frodsham Manor House Primary School have been busy making owl puppets as part of a design and technology project on puppets.
It also linked into the class book, “The Owl who was afraid of the Dark.”
The task was to make a glove puppet of an owl, which developed sewing and cutting skills.
Parents also helped during the day as threading a proper needle proved rather a tricky skill!
Previously, the class had investigated different puppets learned about ventriloquism, researched puppets around the world and made a stick puppet, etc.
