TWO part-time jobs will be lost as a result of a decision by Cheshire West and Chester Council to cancel its contract with Frodsham Town Council for facilities management and reception services at Castle Park House.
This was revealed in a report by Town Clerk Jo Donoghue at a meeting of the Town Counci.
The council was told the decision was made at a meeting of Castle Park Trust on January 13 and announced at a meeting on January 20.
However, no official notification of the cancellatition of the contract had been received and not notice period had been specified.
Staff have been informally informed however no formal action can take place until formal notification of termination of contract has been received by the Town Council.
Frodsham Town Council has resolved that once notification of termination of contract had been received from CWAC, the Town Clerk should take advice from HR consultants with regard to redundancy process.
