CHESTER Road between Frodsham and Helsby was closed on Saturday afternoon after a car collided with a tree.
Shortly before 4pm one fire engine from Ellesmere Port and one from Runcorn attended following a road traffic collision involving a car and a tree.
Two people were in the vehicle and one person was given first aid by the crew.
Due to smoke coming from the car a hose reel was used at the scene. The road was closed in both directions while the incident was dealt with.
Police and paramedics also attended the incident.
