Time is running out if you want to enter Christmas Card design competition

TIME is running out for primary school children in the Frodsham area who want to submit designs for Police and Crime Commissioner John Dwyer’s 2023 Christmas card design.

Children up the age of 11 can submit an original design for the Commissioner to consider. Entries can be submitted as a drawing, painting, or photograph but they must be Christmas themed, of A5 size (portrait or landscape orientation) and can be in colour or black and white.
The competition is free to enter, with the winners receiving a prize – but entries must be in by Sunday, November 5.
There are four separate competitions with bespoke designs wanted from each of the four local authority areas in Cheshire, including Cheshire West and Chester, which of course includes, Frodsham, Helsby, Kingsley and surrounding areas..
Mr Dwyer said: “Sending a Christmas card that features a design from a local youngster is a lovely way to spread festive cheer to people, and I’m looking forward to sprinkling a little bit of Christmas magic here in Cheshire this year.
“I’ve already received some lovely designs. The thought and effort that has gone into them should be commended. Thank you for taking the time to enter. If you still want to enter, and want to be in the prize draw it isn’t too late.”
All entrants should include their name, age, contact number (of a parent/guardian or school) and include the name and address of their school on the reverse of their design. Please do not include this as part of the design itself.
You can send in your designs via post to:
FAO Jen Seed, Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, Clemonds Hey, Oakmere Road, Winsford, Cheshire, CW7 2UA
Or via email: pcc@cheshire.police.uk with the subject ‘Christmas Card Competition’.
