A WOOD store was destroyed by fire at a property in Norley Road, Kingsley…
Two fire engines from Runcorn and Widnes were sent to the scene yesterday (Sunday)
The flames had spread to fencing and guttering and firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.
Cause of the outbreak was hot ashes placed in a wheelie bin.
In an earlier incident at a property in Howey Lane, Frodsham, two fire crews from Runcorn dealt with a fire which involved two wheelie bins and spread to the eves of an outbuilding.
The electricity supply was isolated as the crews damped down the affected area. A thermal imaging camera was used to monitor temperatures and ensure the area was safe.
Cause of the outbreak has not been revealed
