Alistair Begg hits 74 as Kingsley win again

KINGSLEY chalked up a 54-run victory over Tattenhall in the UKFast Cheshire Cricket League on Saturday.
Batting first, Kingsley totalled 167-9, Alistair Begg top scoring with 74.
Tattenhall could only musted 113-8, Charlie Loy, 5-17 being the pick of the Kingsley bowlers and James Fair taking 3-12.
Kingsley 2nd went down against Macclesfield who hit and impressive 207-1. Kingsley replied with 184-9, Richard Taylor hitting 35, Edward Leneghan 31 and Kingsley Warman 31.


Frodsham had no match but the 2nd XI lost by six wickets hosting Hartford.
Batting first, Frodsham hit 163-9, Thomas Burgess top scoring with 52. Hartford replied with 165-4.
In the RSK Cheshire County League, Alvanley put in a strong performance to earn a four wicket victory at Ashton on Mersey.
Ashton totalled 267-8 with Michael Rowlands, 5-73, the pick of the Alvanley bowlers, well supported by Chris Charles, with 3-74.
Alvanley replied with 271-6, Chris Wright hitting 64 not out and Simon Gee 42.
Josh Morris hit a fine 51 for Alvanley 2nd in their victory over Oakmere, 121-6. Charlie Fletcher took 3-33 for Alvanley.
