DESPITE bad weather and brisk winds, huge crowds turned out for the annual Frodsham Christmas Festival and Parade.
Market stalls did a brisk trade throughout the afternoon and festival goers were entertained in the station car park by Choirs from local schools including St Luke’s RC School, Weaver Vale School, Kingsley CP School and Frodsham C of E School.
Mayor Alan Oulton switched on the lights as the Parade made it’s way through the streets which were packed with excited onlookers.
As well as the Festival Market other attractions included Santa’s Grotto, Christmas Fayre in the Parish Hall and the fairground behind the Bear’s Paw pub.
Highlights of the parade included reindeer and a Unicorn and the parade concluded with firework display.
