Dog rescued from river at Frodsham

A DOG was rescued from the River Weaver at Frodsham today after falling into the water from a steep bank.
A fire crew from Frodsham fire station went to the scene, off Bradley Lane, shortly after 10am and a specialist rescue team was sent from the Cheshire Fire Service centre at Lymm.
They used an inflatable raft to rescue the dog and return it to its owner.
The animal is believed to be none the worse for its experience.
