CHILDREN at Frodsham CE Primary School created their own unique flowers to display in a garden of remembrance to mark the first annual National Day of Reflection.
The occasion provided an opportunity to think about the past year and the people they have missed as well as their hopes for a brighter future.
Each child “planted” their own flower and took a moment to remember someone important to them.
Then the whole school observed a minute’s silence as the bell tolled from St Laurence Church.
The day meant a lot to the local community which has lost loved ones during the last difficult year. Parents and members of the community commented on the lovely display and how it had spread such joy
