Housing plan approved for Cheshire Cheese pub site

PLANNING chiefs have given the go-ahead for a development of seven dwellings on the site of the Cheshire Cheese pub in Main Street, Frodsham.
The scheme will involved construction of six new-build dwellings and the conversion and refurbishment of the pub to create a further dwelling.
Associated proposals for access, parking and amenity space are included in the scheme.
The development is similar to one put forward two years ago which involved six new homes and refurbishment of the pub to create two dwellings.
Frodsham Town Council did not oppose the scheme.
