FIREFIGHTERS were called out shortly before midnight to tackle a blaze in Overton Green, Frodsham.
The fire involved a quantity of rubbish and there were no reports of damage to property.
Crew members from Frodsham Fire Station used a hose reel jet and a stack drag to extinguish the blaze.
