Music for a summer’s evening at Castle Park

MUSIC for a Summer’s Evening will launch a new venture at Frodsham’s Castle Park Arts Centre – what is hoped will be a series of light classical music concerts.
The Amarone Trio, consists of Victoria Daniel, flute, Karen Mainwaring, violin and Rebecca Aldersea, ‘cello, all mmbers of he BBC Philharmonic orchestra.
Combining busy careers as professional musicians and parents, the trio are passionate about performing music in a variety of community settings and engaging and inspiring children through bespoke project work delivered directly into schools.
Their concert on Thursday, July 12, will include music by Bach, Elgar, Delibes and Scott Joplin, will start at 7.30pm (for 8pm) lasting for about an hour.

Castle Park Arts Cente is well known locally for its art and photographic exhibitions, workshops,
art classes and folk, jazz and country music events. But until now it has been less recognised for classical music.
Peter Vickery from the Arts Centre said: ” We are delighted to welcome the Amarone Trio to Gallery One in July. The acoustics of the room are excellent for chamber music.
“We hope to offer many more concerts like this in the future at the Arts Centre.”
