THREE fire crews were called out earlier today to help rescue a horse at Helsby which had got stuck on its back.
The incident took place shortly after 1.30pm on Blue Bridge Lane, Helsby near Frodsham.
Three fire engines attended – one from Frodsham, one from Lymm and one from Bollington.
Firefighters attended to a farm on Blue Bridge Lane after a horse became stuck on its back.
Crews helped right the horse with the assistance of the farmer and the vet.
We were called to an Animal Rescue today. A horse called ‘Lucky’ had managed to get herself in a position where she couldn’t get up.
