Another heavy defeat for Frodsham

FRODSHAM suffered a heavy defeat at Winsford after winning the toss and electing to bat first.
They were rolled-over for 87 – and then only managed to take one wicket as the home side raced to victory.
It was a batting collapse that started the problem with five ducks waddling back to the pavilion and only two batsmen reaching double figures.
Skipper Matt Deakin, batting at Number 10, saved his side from complete humiliation by hitting a defiant 33. Thomas Burgess hit 17.
But 87 was never going to be enough and Winsford needed only 21 overs to claim victory.
Kingsley lost at home to Tattenhall after the visitors chose to bat first and were dismissed for 198.
Skipper Tom Eyles bowled superbly for 6-49 and later batted well to top-score with 56. Unfortunately he got little support from the rest of the line-up and Kingsley finished on 163 all out
Kingsley 2nd won by 17 runs at Oxton in a hotly contested match.
Batting first, Kingsley hit 243-5, skipper Jamie Creek top-scoring with 74, Edward Leneghan offering good support with 61 and Jason Taylor adding a boisterous 40 not out.
The home side went for the runs but fell short by 17 runs. Jason Taylor followed up his lively innings with 3-36 while Adrian Burden took 2-52.
Alvanley won by 15 runs at Bollington after being asked to bat first and hitting 168 all out.
Top-scorer was wicket keeper Simon Gee, with 56 while Alex Gee contributed 36.
Bollington were bowled out for 153, Michael Rowlands taking 5-20 and Ben Tumilty 5-22 after coming into the attack late on.
Alvanley 2nd lost at home to Bramhall after being put in and held to 194-8, skipper Charlie Fletcher top scoring with an unbeaten 79 and opener Andy Bennion 50.
Bramhall hit off the runs for the loss of three wickets.
