FRODSHAM won their last match of the season with a three-wicket victory at Burton.
The Wirral side won the toss and chose to bat first – and were soon to regret the decision as they were demolished for a lowly 50 in 25 overs.
Frodsham skipper Matt Deakin bagged 5-20 and James Palliser 4-24
But Frodsham also struggled for runs and owed their victory to an unbeaten 23 from Tom Wilkinson, batting at number seven.
Overall though, it was a disappointing season for Frodsham, who finished third from bottom of division three in the UKFast Cheshire Cricket League, winning only five out of 20 games.
Frodsham 2nd fared rather better, finishing in the top half of their league. But they lost their last match of the season at home to Wirrall.
The visitors batted first and hit 130-9, skipper Andrew Graham with 3-31 the pick of the Frodsham bowlers.
Frodsham were dismissed for 93, Graham top scoring with a defiant 24 batting at number 10.
Kingsley 2nd lost by four wickets at home to Timperley.
Batting first, they hit 181-8, captain Jamie Creek top scoring with 74 and Harvey Hebden contributing 34.
Timperley lost six wickets getting the runs, Paul Betteridge taking 3-47.
