Disappointing result for Frodsham

FRODSHAM lost by 25 runs when they hosted Wistaston Village – a disappointing result after their good start to the season the previous week.
Winning the toss, Frodsham decided to field first and dismissed the visitors for 170. Matt Deakin bowled superbly to take 6-28 and James Palliser and Jamie London picked up two wickets each.
Richard Watt hit a fine 57 for Frodsham and Roger London contributed a useful 29 but the side could only muster 145 in 45 overs.
Frodsham 2nd picked up the points the easy way when opponents Wirral could not raise a team.
Kingsley went down by 33 runs, hosting Maritime.
Maritime were asked to bat first and hit 147 all out. Joel Logan took 5-50 and Ben Stoddart 2-55.
Kingsley’s reply started well with Haris Yassin hitting 37 and Stoddart 24. But after Kieron Ollier’s 16 there was a collapse and the side finished on 114 all out.
Kingsley 2nd were bowled out for 58 at Old Parkonians who loss three wickets reaching their target
