Frodsham go down by three wickets at home

FRODSHAM lost by three wickets hosting Burton.

Batting first, Frodsham were all out for 110, skipper Daniel Connolly hitting 31.
At 46-6, the visitors looked in trouble, with Matt Deakin, 4-21 and James Palliser, 3-34, both among the wickets.
But the Burton lower order fought back and turned the tables. At the close they were 114-7.
Frodsham 2nd enjoyed a big 167-run victory at Tranmere Victoria, however.
Winning the toss and electing to bat first, Frodsham hit a challenging 240-4, Leon Pietrzak hit a superb, unbeaten 126 well supported by Jaymie Smith, 34, Thomas Burgess, 27 and Nick Corless, 21.
Tranmere were never in the hunt and were rolled over for 73 in 33 overs.
Joel Hockley took 3-17, and Ian Deakin and Thomas Burgess took two wickets each.
On Sunday, a Frodsham Friendly XI lost by 20 runs at Runcorn.

Frodsham were all out for 139, Jim Morrell and Mark Clement scoring 29 each after Runcorn had scored 159-9.
Paul Fleetwood, with 3-36, was the pick of the Frodsham bowlers.
Kingsley defeated Winnington Park by nine wickets after bowling them out for 95, Joel Logan taking 5-25.
Skipper Haris Yassin hit 59 not out at Kingsley raced to victory on 96-1.
Kingsley 2nd won by 23 runs at The Groves, hitting 139-9 and then dismissing the Wirral side for 116. Jamie Creek took 4-35.
Alvanley won by 52 runs, hosting Romiley.
Skipper Alex Reid top scored with 84 as Alvanley posted 231-9. Stephen Charles hit 59 and Simon Gee 43.
Romiley were all out for 179, Ieuan Morris taking 5-16.
There were wins also for Alvanley 2nd and 3rd XIs
