FRODSHAM’S bowlers suffered a mauling when they travelled to Offerton on the hottest day of the season so far.
The home side won the toss and, predictably, elected to bat first.

Faced with such a daunting target, Frodsham’s batsmen batted well. Daniel Connolly hit 39 and Roger London 32. But it was a hopeless task and wickets fell – the last falling in the 32nd over with the score on 164.

The home side were dismissed for 138 with Stoddart taking 4-43 and Martyn Jenks 4-23.
