KINGSLEY won by five runs in an exciting finish at Tattenhall after being bowled out for 128.

The home side always looked capable of reaching the modest target but Ben Ainsworth with 3-27 and Jack Logan, 3-32 put them on the back foot and they were all out for 123.
Kingsley 2nd won by 80 runs at Mobberley after hitting a challenging 216-5, Jaimie Creek 49, Neil Webb 47 and Craig Lynch 39 not out. The home side were back in the pavilion for 128, thanks to fine bowling by Adrian Burden, 5-19 and Joe Kitchen, 3-20.
Frodsham’s home game was cancelled and the 2nd XI went down by five wickets at Warrington after being restricted to 143-8. Jaymie Smith top scored with 48 and Greg Murphy hit an unbeaten 44.
Warrington coasted to 144-5, Simon Tasker taking 2-38 and Peter O’Grady 2-29.
It was a dismal weekend for Alvanley with the 1st XI game cancelled, the 2nd XI losing by seven wickets at Nantwich and the 3rd XI going down by 148 runs at home to Old Parkonians.
