LADY golfers at Helsby Golf Club showed they weren’t just “fair weather birds” when they competed for the Whitfield Salver.
They turned out in driving rain for the competition and played to a high standard despite the wet conditions.
Winner was Kathryn Hoather (pictured right) with a score of 43 points and runner-up was Lynn Stein.
Club officials congratulated all who took part in the competition for defeating the weather!
