New programme of exhibitions at Castle Park Arts Centre

Castle Park Arts Centre’s forthcoming programme

A SERIES of exhibitions has been announced at Frodsham’s Castle Park Arts Centre, starting from Wednesday, May 17 and running until June 24.
On Friday, May 19 there will be a free “meet the artists” session between 7pm and 9pm.
In Gallery 1, “Reflections” is an exhibition by Eddisbury Artists, a long-standing group of local artists who meet to paint and develop their artistic interests.
Gallery 2 will feature “Paintings and Poetry” – a celebration of paintings, poetry and music by Chrissie Youngman.
During its run, there will be four Poetry Reading evenings, with poets from the community attending to read their poetry and musicians playing between the readings.
More information is available from the website www.castleparkarts.co.uk
Gallery 3 will feature Contemporary Threads by textile artists and “Coastal” – inspiration drawn from the local area, both industrial and the more picturesque beaches.
The Link Gallery will stage “Any Time Soon” by Chris Newsham, – described as non-representational paintings and drawings exploring colour, tone and form.
The exhibitions will be open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm.
